My Story

My journey into this work grew out of a deepening understanding of how emotional awareness shapes mental health and overall well-being. Through personal experiences with individuals navigating a range of mental health challenges, I came to believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported in a meaningful way.

I believe self-understanding is a powerful foundation for growth and healing. Caring for your mental health isn’t just about managing symptoms, it’s about learning how to better understand your emotions, experiences, and needs. In my work, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings openly.

Throughout my career, I’ve been especially drawn to working with children, adolescents, and families. I’m passionate about helping young people make sense of their experiences and supporting families as they build stronger communication and connection. My goal is always to offer a space that feels safe, empathetic, and engaging, where growth and healing can happen naturally.

My Area of Expertise

I specialize in working with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating trauma, grief, and emotional regulation challenges. Much of my work focuses on supporting children with behavioral concerns, teens working through school and social stressors, and young adults and college students managing life transitions, anxiety, and identity development.

I have extensive experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, family conflict, and communication challenges. My background in both clinical and community-based settings has strengthened my ability to support clients in understanding their emotions, building healthier coping skills, and improving relationships within their families. I am especially skilled at creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and engaging, where clients can explore their experiences and work toward meaningful change.

Together, we will create a safe and supportive space where healing can begin and continue. You don’t have to navigate your journey alone, we’ll take it one step at a time.

How I Approach Therapy

What's My Vibe

I approach therapy by creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their emotions and experiences. Building trust and connection is central to my work, especially when supporting children, adolescents, and families.

My approach blends skill-building, emotional awareness, and family involvement when appropriate. I focus on helping clients better understand their feelings, strengthen communication, and develop healthier ways to cope with life’s challenges. Whether working with children, teens, adults, or families, my goal is to support meaningful growth while honoring each client’s unique journey.

My style as a therapist is calm, supportive, and approachable. I focus on creating an environment where clients feel safe, heard, and comfortable being themselves. Sessions with me are thoughtful and steady, with space for curiosity, reflection, and growth.

I’m especially mindful of meeting clients at their level, whether I’m working with a child, teen, adult, or family. My goal is for therapy to feel like a place where you can breathe, feel supported, and begin to make sense of what you’re experiencing at your own pace.
