Blair Holleman, LMSW

Licensed Masters Social Worker
Therapist for Teens, Young Adults, and Adults
They/Them

Hello! My name is Blair, and I am an able-bodied, non-binary, neurodivergent, body positive therapist who is passionate about working with adolescents and young adults on their journey of self-discovery and healing. Therapy should be a safe space for any and all individuals to feel comfortable, validated, and empowered. My intention is to provide this space for you where you can gain the tools, knowledge, and guidance to process difficult emotions, past traumas, and work at navigating the difficulties that this season of your life brings you

I currently hold my associate license as a Master’s Social Work in the state of Georgia. I am working under the supervision of Lisa Ibekwe, LCSW as I work towards becoming a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and then later obtained my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver.

I have been practicing Social Work since 2021 and have developed competency in providing therapeutic services to adolescents and young adults who have complex childhood trauma, been in foster care and/or group homes, or have experienced homelessness. I have worked extensively with the LGBTQ+ community as well as individuals experiencing Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Anxiety, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Gender Dysphoria.

I practice through a client-centered and trauma-informed lens, taking an approach that pulls from different types of therapy such as Mindfulness-based therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency (ARC) Framework. I am also currently working towards certification for Hypnotherapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing (SE), all of which can be essential positive catalyst for healing complex childhood trauma that has been unresponsive to more conventional psychotherapy treatment.

If this sounds like a good fit for your needs, I would be delighted to talk with you about the next steps towards your healing journey.

My Specialties:

  • Trained in Motivational Interviewing
  • Trained in Mindfulness-Based approaches
  • Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy
  • Trained in Attachment, Regulation, and Competency Framework

My Education:

  • Masters of Social Work (Mental Health and Trauma Concentration), University of Denver
  • Bachelors of Art in Psychology, Georgia State University

I’m excited to work with you and help you reach maximum healing!
