THE COMFY PLACE IS GROWING AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR AWESOME THERAPISTS LIKE YOU!!!
A career at The Comfy Place isn’t just about finding a job that pays the bills (though that is important!). It’s about joining a community of people committed to each other and the clients we serve.
We are seeking qualified mental health clinicians to join our team! We are currently recruiting for pre-licensed and fully licensed mental health clinicians (LMSW, LCSW, APC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, MHC, LMHC, Ph.D., PsyD, PNP) to provide services to diverse populations throughout Georgia.Â
We are additionally looking for amazing clinicians in the following states to join our Comfy Place family: New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Pennsylvania, Utah, Maine, South Carolina, and Massachusetts. Â
Are You Ready To Up Your Counseling Game?
Â
There’s nothing wrong with wanting it all. You became a therapist because you wanted to really help people heal. You’ve invested time, energy, and money. You deserve to work for a company that rewards grit, encourages creativity, and values you.
Let’s Cut To The Chase…What’s The Money Situation?
Okay, so you may be able to earn more if you go out on your own, but maybe not! We pay our counselors a very fair rate, and in exchange, offer a ton of support, training, and flexibility. We basically take care of all the business, administrative, social and marketing details that can easily lead to a new private practice going under or to major burnout.
We care about our team! All full-time employees have access to:Â
- Dental and Vision Coverage
- Short Term and Long Term Disability
- Life Insurance
- Continuing Education and/or Training Opportunities (Part-time benefit also)
- Free supervision towards licensure and monthly clinical consultations (Part-time benefit also)
- Paid Time Off (PTO), Sick Leave, and Holiday Pay
- Student Loan Reimbursements
- Access to a 401k Savings Plan
- Flexible Schedule
- And additionally, we offer an hourly rate of up to $60/hour (based on experience and licensure)
In addition, we bring a lot of other benefits to the table…
- We have a structured training and onboarding process that sets you up for success in your first 90 days.
- We work to help you identify your ideal clients, then fill your caseload with them. It’s just up to you to retain them (and we can help you learn how to do that, too!)
- We give you almost 100% control over your schedule and the ability to work both in-person and remote.
- We are committed to anti-racism and inclusion, which we work on actively in the form of trainings, consultation, and team-building activities.Â
- We help you stretch and grow clinically and professionally with regular supervision and various networking opportunities.
- We are there when you feel overwhelmed, need to staff a case, or just want to have a social break.
- We care about you and we are committed to helping you succeed–not because we have to, but because you matter to us.
Of course, if you’re looking for a job where you can coast and do the bare minimum for top dollar, please don’t apply here. You will be let down.
We are a Company That Believes in Being Uniquely Us
We are a special group that won’t be a good fit for everyone. That’s fine with us! We want people to know who we are and what we stand for. That way, joining our team feels like a, “Hell Yes! THIS is where I belong.”
Still not sure if our Family is the best fit for you, then check out what a few of our therapists have to say about working at The Comfy Place.
I loved working at The Comfy Place because it’s focused on healing in a no fuss and stress free environment. The clients benefited when we the therapist were able to make the client our number one priority.Â
Reasons You Will Like The Comfy Place
- We have high clinical standards. We expect our team to really help people heal. If you don’t know something, that’s fine, but we do expect you to speak up and ask for help.Â
- We require documentation to be clear, concise, and timely. To us, this piece represents professionalism, accountability, and just another way of being helpful.Â
- You need to know yourself as a clinician and as a person. If you are stressed, we expect you to know what to do to help yourself reset and reach out for help when you need it. Our work can be intense – intensely emotional and intensely rewarding. It is not for everyone.Â
- We look for people who want to go the extra mile. Our social media, blogs, and community networking help us to bridge the gap between ourselves and those needing help. Our staff welcomes these opportunities as ways to build rapport AND build their caseload.
- We value collaboration. Our clinicians go the extra mile with community partners and collateral contacts.Â
Reasons You Will LOVE The Comfy Place
- We are thoughtful. You might not like some of our policies, but they are created purposefully–all centered around our desire to encourage healing and growth in our clients and community.
- We listen. If you don’t like something, we want to know. Candid feedback helps us to do things better.
- You want to focus on clinical issues, so we streamline and support you in everything else from getting clients in the door to administrative support.Â
- Our systems and policies are developed with you in mind. We are constantly working to do things better, more efficiently, and more effectively so you can focus your time on what really matters.
- Your self-care and growth are one of our highest priorities. We want you to be on fire to do your job, and we recognize the ongoing threat of burnout and secondary trauma. So, we will celebrate you taking good care of you!
