Traneice Hawkins, MFT

Marriage and Family Therapist, Child and Adolescent Therapist

Hi I’m Traneice. I am so excited to see you taking this first step on your healing journey. I focus my work on assisting children, adolescents, young adults, families and couples through their journey of healing. I am working under the supervision of Lisa Ibekwe, LCSW, as I work towards becoming a fully Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

I have been in the Counseling field since 2016 when I began my journey of helping people heal. I obtained a Bachelors of Science in Public Service from Macon State College and then went on to pursue my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. I have since gained experience working in hospital settings, private practice, and the likes where I have been able to hone in my skills. My expertise includes working with people who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma and people who may have relationship/marital conflicts, self-esteem issues, adjustment/behavioral concerns, and more. I additionally work with the LGBTQ population and currently facilitate our LGBTQ support group for Tweens.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults from all walks of life. I have trained in and practiced trauma related treatment in multiple settings with children, adolescents, and adults and am currently working towards multiple specialized trauma certifications. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy that encompasses various modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Person-Centered Therapy,  and various Behavior Therapy techniques. As a caring and compassionate therapist, I am here to help guide you through the process. I support my clients by creating a fun, relaxed, safe, and judgment-free environment for everyone to heal.
