I am so thrilled to see that you have found me today! Seeking help can sometimes seem like a scary or daunting task, but taking that first step to help you or your teen reach for healing takes a great deal of strength and courage. As a therapist, it is my goal to support and encourage you as you go through your healing process. My focus is on helping you cultivate your inner courage and strength as you work towards your goals.
I have been in the counseling field since 2015 and have experience with providing counseling services and case management to youth in out-patient and in-patient settings. I graduated from the University of North Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and later attended Mercer University where I graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I feel that clients can have the best opportunity for long term healing when they are allowed to make the choices for their future. I am experienced in working with adolescents and adults with issues surrounding stress, life transitions, trauma, depression and anxiety. I welcome members of all cultural communities and fully support the LGBTQIA+ community.
Life can feel overwhelming and stressful at times, but with the right outlook it can also be wonderful, beautiful and filled with light. Sometimes we need that extra bit of support to help us find and reignite that light within us. My hope is that on our journey together you will feel safe to work on reaching maximum healing.
