Hello, I’m Katelyn. As a youthful and exuberant therapist who is dedicated to serving children and adolescents, I have a passion for finding beauty in all things I encounter. My goal as a therapist is to help you uncover the beauty of what lies within, your true potential.
I obtained my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. I am working under the supervision of Lisa Ibekwe, LCSW, as I work towards becoming a fully Licensed Professional Counselor. I specialize in Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I provide individual, group, and family therapy for children, teens, parents, and teachers. I enjoy working with a variety of topics including trauma, anxiety, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, social skills, stress, anger management, parenting concerns, and family/relationships.
I work with children, teens, parents, and teachers to provide a safe, affirming, non-judgmental space for healing and support. I additionally enjoy working with young adults experiencing life transitions. I utilize mindfulness-based interventions and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help people get to the best version of themselves.
I am passionate and dedicated to my craft of helping people on their healing journey. I aim to help people connect to and understand the relationship between what happens in their mind and how it affects their body and behaviors. In our sessions we will work collaboratively to help you move towards a healthier and happier life. Contact me today to talk about ways I can help!
